From Devastation to Dignity: Helping Cebu Rebuild

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, a massive Magnitude 6.9 earthquake rocked Cebu, Philippines, shattering homes, displacing thousands of families, and leaving entire communities in a state of urgent crisis. The pictures and videos coming out are heartbreaking: debris where houses once stood, families sleeping outdoors, and a desperate need for basic necessities like clean water, food, and medicine.

The earthquake struck off the coast of Bogo City and caused widespread destruction across northern Cebu. As of [A few days after the quake, the death toll was reported around 70-72], dozens of fatalities have been reported, and thousands are injured and displaced, with hospitals overwhelmed.
