Rebuild Hope: Betti and her cat need Your help after flood

My name is Betti Csiba, my cat, Kiwi, and I live in Picanya, Spain, a little village near Valencia.

The disastrous weather of the past few days with extremely heavy rainfall and the storm DANA has left devastating conditions in and around Valencia, including Picanya. I live on the ground floor in a small apartment, which has been flooded completely in 24 hours. I have lost practically everything I own: my furniture, TV, household appliances, all my clothes, shoes, books, my whole life. My cat and I managed to survive by climbing up to my neighbor’s apartment through the terrace. The muddy water poured into my apartment with terrible force. I have insurance, but in such a situation I don’t think the insurance company will pay any real compensation. I am now facing the task of rebuilding my home from scratch, from essential household items to personal belongings. So I am asking all those who feel for me to support me with even a small amount of money so that I can start my life again.

Soy Betti Kata Csiba y vivo en el pueblo de Picanya, cerca de Valencia en España con mi gato Kiwi.

El clima cruel de los últimos días, la gran cantidad de lluvia y la tormenta DANA han provocado situaciones catastróficas en Valencia y sus alrededores, incluida Picanya.

Vivo en un pequeño apartamento en la planta baja que ha quedado completamente inundado en las últimas 24 horas. Prácticamente he perdido todo. Mis muebles, la televisión, los electrodomésticos, toda mi ropa, mis zapatos, mis libros, mi vida.

Subí con mi gato a casa de mi vecino de arriba a través de la terraza, así pudimos sobrevivir. Un barro espeso inundó mi apartamento con una fuerza terrible. Tengo seguro, pero en esta situación es difícil esperar una indemnización real de las compañías de seguros.

Por eso, pido a todas las personas solidarias que, aunque sea con una pequeña cantidad, me apoyen para poder reiniciar mi vida.

Az elmúlt napok kegyetlen időjárása, a rengeteg nagy mennyiségű eső és a DANA vihar katasztrofális állapotokat idézett elő Valenciában és környékén, így Picanyában is. Én a földszinten lakom egy kis lakásban ami az elmúlt 24 órában teljesen víz alá került. Gyakorlatilag mindenem odaveszett. A bútoraim, a tv, háztartási gépek, minden ruhám, cipőm, könyveim, az életem. A teraszomon keresztül másztam fel a cicámmal a fenti szomszédomhoz, így sikerült életben maradnunk. Iszonyú erővel zúdult a sáros lé a lakásomba. Biztosításom van de ilyen helyzetben valós kártérítés aligha várható a biztosító társaságoktól.

Ezért arra kérek minden velem együttérző embert, hogy akármilyen kis összeggel is támogasson, hogy újra tudjam kezdeni az életemet.
