My name is Warren. About a year ago, I opened my home to a family in need after theirs was tragically lost in a fire. I offered them a place to stay, hoping to provide some stability during a difficult time. Unfortunately, after just four months, they stopped paying rent, which led to a grueling 10-month legal process to regain possession of my property.

I’ve recently regained access to my home, only to find it completely destroyed inside and out. As you can see from the photos, the damage is extensive: carpets and flooring ripped up, baseboards and walls damaged, bathrooms and ceilings vandalized. The tenants also threw feces throughout the home and out of the upstairs windows. To make matters worse, they left rotting meat across the kitchen floors, creating a serious health hazard. On top of all this, I’m currently going through a medical retirement after seven years of military service and have just welcomed my first child into the world. The financial and emotional burden of restoring my home is overwhelming, and I’m not sure how I’ll manage to rebuild without help.
