Help Alicia and Her Daughter Rebuild After Guadalupe River Flood
On July 4th, 2025, a devastating flood from the Guadalupe River swept through Kerrville, Texas, turning a holiday into heartbreak. My sister, Alicia Smith, and her 16-year-old daughter lost everything—their home, their belongings, and their only vehicle. The apartment they lived in was completely submerged, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Alicia is a U.S. Navy Veteran. She is a hardworking, dedicated mother doing her best to raise her daughter. But this sudden disaster has left them with no roof over their heads and no transportation to work, school, or anywhere. They are now facing the unimaginable task of starting over from scratch.
We are asking for help from the community, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to support Alicia and her daughter during this overwhelming time. Funds raised will go toward:
Temporary housing
Clothing and basic necessities
Replacing furniture and personal items
Transportation needs
Deposits for a new apartment and utility setup
Every donation, no matter how small, brings them one step closer to stability and hope. If you’re unable to donate, please share this campaign to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can give. ❤️
