My name is Natasha Miles, founder of The Miles-Lee Foundation, a Non-For-Profit Charitable Organization dedicated to providing support to communities in crisis. Hurricane Melissa destroyed many homes across rural parishes. Roofs were torn off, houses was flattened and valuables was destroyed. The work of the foundation operates with transparency, compassion and commitment to deliver help to those people who are desperately in need. Our aim is to get as much support as possible from individuals, community leaders, businesses and other organizations. With your donation, we can buy building materials to replace damaged zinc roofs, without a roof there is no way to keep the house dry when it rains. Your donations will also provide clean water, food, toiletries, clothing and essential items. We are on the ground coordinating the materials needed and will distribute directly to the individuals in the communities mostly affected. The Miles-Lee Foundation is seeking donations to help push forward the relief efforts to the people who lost their homes in Hurricane Melissa. Many communities' houses were destroyed and damaged by the winds and floodwaters caused by Hurricane Melissa. The areas we are seeking assistance for are Black River, St. Elizabeth, St. Ann, St. Thomas, Spanish Town, and Kingston. Many people have lost their homes along with their livestock. Many homes, built with plywood and zinc, were destroyed by Hurricane Melissa. The people affected are in urgent need of help to rebuild and replace essential items like building materials, furniture, roofs, appliances, etc.

We are seeking monetary donations that will be used to buy building materials to help rebuild homes damaged by the storm. I have no relationship with the parties that I am raising the funds for. The mission of the foundation is to help as many people as possible.
