My name is Therisa Barton. I was born in the Parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and I live in Trenton, Maine, USA currently.

Hurricane Melissa recently destroyed my community! Most of us are left roofless and all crops have been destroyed.

We are just seeking help to put our roofs back on and start our crops over because we are the breadbasket parish for the island.

We are asking for zinc, lumber, construction nails, fertilizers, personal care & food. My community will be getting your donations from me (Therisa Barton) , who then be sending some donations via money transfer to Teneisha Sinclair in Jamaica will purchase the materials for roofs based on what each person needs and I be purchasing the food here in the states to be shipped. I Therisa Barton, will be overseeing this entire project in all stages. My neighbors who are affected will be getting their donations in the form of the materials they need, personal care & food items.
