Rebuild Goblin Games

Donate to rebuild Manhattan's friendly local game store. #MhkFlood2018
Goblin Games opened in Manhattan, KS in January 2015, with a tiny space, a few tables, and one shelving unit to display games. Over the last three and a half years we tripled in size and were still short on space on some Fridays, and we know the devoted local community is the reason we thrived.
On Labor Day, Sept 2nd, we lost everything.
Wildcat Creek flooded, and in a matter of minutes there was over 6 feet of mud and water inside our store. It is a total loss. We did not have a flood insurance policy. We will not be recieving any insurance compensation at all.
Despite the loss, we will start again. We love Manhattan. We love this community.
The Goblin Family is bigger than we can support starting from scratch again, so it is with heavy hearts that we ask for your help.
We have many ideas on what we want in a new store, and would love input on what you need too.
Manhattan Town Center has graciously offered us a temporary home in the mall that should be operational very soon.
We set the goal at 20,000 because that is about what we started with the first time around. We don't know where our permanent home will be yet, so how much funding we'll ultimately need depends on you. What do you need in your game store?
If you have any words of encouragement or suggestions, leave a comment here or message our Facebook page.
