Rebuild for Miss Lorna "Miss Zella" Brown of Water Wheel, Westmoreland

This GoFundMe is created on behalf of Miss Lorna Brown, lovingly known in her community as "Miss Zella." A devoted mother, daughter, and pillar of the Water Wheel community, Miss Zella has always been known for her kindness and strength.
Recently, tragedy struck when Hurricane Melissa made landfall. Her home & her mother's home (built in the early 80s) all suffered severe damage.
We're coming together to help her rebuild what she's lost and provide stability for her family and community members.
The immediate goal will be to get barrels to the island with supplies.
Funds raised will go toward:
- Rebuilding and concreting the roof of the lower level of her home which remains standing for her son who has a mental health condition and lived with her.
- Helping her construct and rebuild a new home for her and her 90-year-old mother
- Providing immediate relief to others in need: 30% of all funds will go toward assisting families in the community with food, water, and basic necessities during this difficult time
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Miss Zella one step closer to restoring her home, her livelihood, and her peace of mind.
