Hi, I’m Brett. I own and operate a woodworking/mother of pearl inlay and laser engraving company called Fat Freddy’s Creations out of Healdsburg, California. I’m a loving husband, a father of two and a grateful artist!  I have been growing my business for 16 years and had built out my dream shop on my family’s property. I had two laser engravers and had just gotten out of a really hard year and was finally in the green. Business was good and things were looking up.

We were out of town and a huge flood hit our property and side of town. The water rose almost two feet overnight. We came home to both of my very expensive, fully paid-off laser engravers totally shot from sitting in flood water. We tried everything, and they just aren’t salvageable. We also lost thousands in materials and have a long way to go to get our shop up and running again. It’s going to cost a good 15-20k to be back at half the copasity we need one laser at least and to build a new raised floor to prevent future flooding, we are just looking for a little help getting started, anything helps.   I luckily have an awesome father with a shop that I can use in the meantime, but it’s just going to take so much to get back up and running. We have a lot of expenses and work ahead of us. If you're able to donate, we would so greatly appreciate it.
