On Wednesday, January 8th, our co-worker and dear friend Farah Schureman and her two sons lost their home in Altadena that was affected by the Eaton fires occurring in California.

The family was forced to evacuate their home at 3:00 a.m. on January 8th due to the fires and the high winds. By early morning, the family discovered that their house was burned to the ground.

Her last text was to inform us that, "I have nothing left. All gone." This devastating tragedy left this family so heartbroken, and the family’s home of many, many years, and so many memories in ashes.
