A family-owned sauna and cold plunge business here in Milwaukee, Driftwood Sauna Club, experienced a devastating loss this week when their outdoor sauna was destroyed in a fire overnight. The cause is still under investigation.

This small business was built from a vision to bring wellness, recovery, and community to Milwaukee. As a couple working to break into the wellness space, they were passionate about creating a place where people could prioritize their health, recharge, and connect.

It’s more than a passion project—it’s a primary source of income for a hardworking couple raising two young children. In an instant, they lost not only a structure, but also upcoming bookings and the ability to operate.
