Rebuild Donkey: Tim's Sentimental Project
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, Tim flipped his Jeep today. He is, physically, ok but the Jeep is in a bad way. He cashed out his 401K from U of L to buy himself a present-a 1974 CJ5-as a fun daily driver and something to tinker on. He named it Donkey after the dense, irritating, miniature beast of burden in Shrek. And in the blink of an eye, someone’s stupid decision took it away.
If it were just the parts to get it running again, we could handle that. But there are body panels to replace plus most of what little interior a Jeep that old had. That has to come in a lump sum. And that lump just isn’t in our budget. This is where you come in.
You, our friends and family, know that Tim never asks for anything for himself. And right now, he’s heartbroken. He’s telling himself it’s just a truck. A thing. But that’s just a story to cover the hurt.
I’m asking for your help to put Donkey back together again.
