Rebuild Detroit Lake Marina

My name is Carly Lunski, daughter in law to owners Scott and Callie Lunski and Detroit Lake Marina manager. 

Detroit Lake Marina is a family owned and operated marina in the heart of Detroit Oregon that fell victim to the Beachie Creek wildfire. 

We at Detroit Lake Marina want to get back on track as soon as possible. There is a lot of work ahead of us to do and unfortunately insurance will only be covering a small portion of it. There will still be a lot of out of pocket expenses that we will have to cover to build our marina the way we think this community deserves. With the support of this amazing community we will be able to build better and stronger. We plan to use these funds to help with the rebuild of our store, crew quarters, as well as a safe and environmentally conscious clean up for us and our neighbors. We plan to display the list of donors in our new store as a sign of gratitude and the importance of community. 

If the marina has a special place in your life we ask for your support. The Detroit community is a special one, and it’s going to take that community to make it even better than it was before. We whole heartedly appreciate anything anyone wants to give. It’s going to be a long road to get back to what we had but we are determined to make it better than ever!
