The Winter Storm of 2021 was unrelenting, especially in states that were ill-prepared for such an event. 

Living near the Houston area, Derek, also known by his alias SewDough, lost everything due to flooding. His computer, his files, his equipment, as well as a lot of his house's infrastructure with water damage everywhere. Since Derek worked from his computer that is now destroyed, he has no way to bring in income. We estimate his damages to be somewhere between the $20,000 to $25,000 range.

Derek, building his life up from scratch, has worked a tremendous amount to get to where he is today. His presence in the bass scene is everlasting, and it is a tragedy that this page needs to be started to begin with.
