Help me help Damien rebuild his home after hurricane damage.

The Immediate Need: Replacing a lost roof in Jamaica for our dear friend Damien, who suffered a devastating loss due to the recent hurricane. The powerful winds completely ripped the roof off his home, leaving the inside exposed to the elements and destroying much of his property.

Damien is a hardworking and wonderful guy who is now facing the monumental task of securing his shelter with very limited resources. He urgently needs our help to literally put a roof back over his head and ensure his home is secure for him and his children.

Our Goal: $3,000 to Secure and Rebuild

The immediate, essential cost to purchase the materials (lumber, corrugated sheeting, nails, and protective sealant) and hire local help to quickly reconstruct the roof is estimated to be around $2,500 USD.

• $2,500: Direct costs for roofing materials and construction labor.

• $500: Funds for necessary cleanup, transport of materials, and to cover GoFundMe's processing fees, ensuring Damien receives the full amount needed for the roof.

He is staying with a friend until he has the funds to buy the materials and start rebuilding the roof himself. Let's help him make that possible.
