A Lifetime of Dreams Reduced to Ashes: Cindy’s Hard-Earned Cabin, Destroyed by Arson in Our Small Village! This is not ok! Community Terrified!

As many of you know, over the Christmas holidays, our dear friend Cindy Elliott's little cottage in the forest was tragically destroyed by a senseless act of arson. This has been an incredibly painful experience for her. The cottage was a true labor of love, a place she poured her heart and soul into, retirement savings and to see it all lost in a single night due to the actions of someone so cruel is devastating. There have been no arrests, and It's hard not to take it personally when something so precious is taken from you.

But Cindy is not alone in this. We, her family, friends, and community, are coming together to support her through this difficult time. In an effort to help her recover some of the significant loss—over $40,000—we've started a GoFundMe page.

This tragedy not only deeply affects Cindy, but also several hardworking contractors who have lost the tools and equipment they rely on to make a living. For them, these losses are more than just material; they represent the very means of supporting themselves. This Fund will also help replace some of what was lost to them
