Rebuild Chesley's Shop: A Family Legacy Lost

I am Robin Smith, wife of Chesley Smith, Jr. ( Bud ).

Sunday evening our shop burned to the ground. We did not have insurance.

This shop has been in the family for the past 58 years and use to be a full service shop back in the day by Chesley Smith, Sr.

Bud uses it now to service and repair his own trucks that he hauls gravel in for a living. Everything is gone. We are still cleaning up. After the clean up we have to erect a new building and do all the things that entails. We will then have to replace all of his equipment. He lost a welder, a air compressor, and many, many tools. We are not ones to ask for help, but people are coming by to pay their regards and are asking if we have a GoFundMe set up, so I decided to set one up. Please keep our family in your prayers.
