Hi everyone, we finally got in contact with our family in Jamaica after a few days and the town which is a second home to us, Black River St. Elizabeth is destroyed. Honestly the damage we’ve seen is devastating and our hearts continue to break seeing our home in shambles. Our grandmothers house is destroyed and like many, she spent many years and so much effort and funds into building it. She finally wanted to move back to Jamaica to retire next March and unfortunately the home she knows and the home we grew up in is in need of repairs. Our families roofs are caved in and people are being robbed, they are currently not safe or housed. We would like to raise funds to help assist in rebuilding stronger to weather future storms and keep them safe. Anything at all helps, prayers are also greatly appreciated and needed.
