Hi, my name is Brenda and my family owns Architectural Clearinghouse. We have been a family run business since 1995 and proudly served Edmonton and the surrounding area since 1988.

On August 20, 2025 a fire tore through our building destroying not only our building but our entire inventory. As we move forward and try to rebuild, we are experiencing a lot of unexpected expenses that are not covered by insurance. We are struggling to keep up.

Some people have been asking where the money will go from our GoFundMe. We are a small family business with high operating costs. Everything we had was inside the building that burned down.

We use the busier summer/fall months to catch up on bills like utilities and taxes. We will use it to try to rebuild our inventory and replace tools that insurance will only partially cover. We want to come back and serve the Edmonton community that we love so much but we can't do that without inventory and the ability to go out and salvage. Many incidental costs like interim storage space, replacing the melted tail lights on the cube van, replacing the ignition and key to the forklift because it was in a desk that burned inside the building, general labour costs. The list goes on and on. We still have money going out but no money coming in. $1,000 to $5,000 is gone in the blink of an eye and we have just begun dealing with this tragedy.
