UPDATE, 10/12/24 UPDATE;
thank you for everyone who is interested in supporting our project and our groups efforts, we got our initial assessment and got the first load of supplies up to a church just outside Brevard North Carolina where they could get them to the effected victims of the devastation of Helene.
our assessment has brought with it a UPDATED LIST OF DONATION NEEDS:
winter clothes, jackets, pants, thermals, beanies, hot hands, blankets, wool socks, boots, rubber and regular insulated work/hiking boots, scarfs propane heaters, and any other winter needs for a person in the Appalachian winter to stay comfortable and warm.
also just basic toiletries and hygiene products for men, woman, and children are still a huge need hygiene is a silent but huge deal in these situation where it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and infection, so any kind of sanitary, hygiene, and toiletries are happily welcomed.
Also wasp and hornet spray are a big one for the linemen and emergency personnel right now due to all the critters stirred up after the storms and there tearing the workers up in there efforts to restore power and clear roads and debris,
also epi-pens are a big help not just for workers but victims who have allergies to hornets, wasps, bees, etc. to keep people from going into anaphylactic shock.
I know the episode-pens are typically prescription and therefore hard to source any quantity of them at once for donation’s purpose and mass effect, but our crew of guys have connections and sources in the industry that we can purchase and source large quantities at once as to provide for as many crews in the affected areas as we can.
and lastly of course if you would like to donate monetarily this keeps our trucks filled with the fuel they need and any maintence required to keep them going on the trips to deliver supplies and get our crews the resources they need to help with search and recovery, debris clearing, and our newest and the thing I’m most excited about is I will be headed to East Tennessee to meet up with my logistics and drone operator and we are gonna get our backup diesel generator mounted and fixed on the trailer and get it over to the surrounding area of Erwin to set in place and get the crews still endlessly working recovery efforts all the power they need, our generator was a backup for a hospital in Florida incase of emergency power needs, and therefor we are excited to be able to say that it can provide these devasted small towns and the victims and the crews working there all the power they need to fuel there efforts!
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!!!!
EDIT: the email is up and going for any questions donations, and also if you want to receive updates and photos and videos of the assessment trip, and all the work we are gonna be doing in the area, you can send all of this to [email redacted]
Again please get this out there let us know if you have donations that need to be picked up or drop off at one of our places to be loaded on the trailer for the trip, thank you and god bless!
Southeast emergency response and rebuilding project:
Mission goal: to help the local impacted communities in eastern tennessee, North Carolina, northwest Georgia, north Florida, and South Carolina, through providing resources and materials and logistics to help the locals start to rebuild there homes in small town America.
We will be making a trip up in this weekend to assess the situation help those closest to us that we can immediately go to work on repairs, and clear the roads so the communities in these mountain towns and get down to get what supplies are already being brought in by other foundations and non profits.
I have some local contacts and some areas about 90 min outside some of the worst impact zones and will be meeting and speaking to the locals to see what is acctually needed so as not to be as redundant, we’re gonna be going up fully self sustainable as not to pull resources from the local area, building materials of course will be needed but in the weeks to come emergency communications and water purification/filtration systems due to instructors failure of multiple facets, mainly is access to areas though due to debris, down trees, flooding, landslides and complete collapses and failures of roads and bridges, so clearing roads and cutting trees, and using the drone to cover and assess miles of area quickly, efficiently.
I will be recording my conversations with the locals and videos of the local situation and will be posting it all open source on a dedicated page that I am creating and will be linking on my page and sharing. I’m also setting up a donation page I will be linking but am looking for alternative fundraising sights do to issues seen in the past with some common fundraising platforms, there is a foundation filing already in the works and talk with local board members who are fully committed and capable people with true intentions to help our fellow Americans when the big guys can’t or don’t know the best way how, we’re gonna combine our knowledge and resources and act as a force multiplier to start helping the locals rebuild and help them with the recovery efforts. Fuel and pallets of water are needed if you have any building materials or anything you would like to donate I will be having enclosed trailers running materials and resources, tools, generators, lights, chainsaws and safety and recovery equipment up to our base of operations and distributing them to the local agencies, and other foundations and communities to help them through the endless work we all have.
Please share this is most important how you can help, get this to as many people as possible donations and the support of their fellow Americans is what is gonna make this possible and it’s long term work not just tarps and water, we’re looking at years of rebuilding some of these areas longer complete water facilities declared unsalvagable, fuel and water are the most importany on this trip for the equipment and clearing we will be doing but all donations please private message me until the foundation page is up later this week and money donations will be a charity write off for your taxes once the page and foundation is up.
Again sharing this is the most important to reach all those out there watching who want to help but want to see actual first hand there donations have a real effect on the situation for the better of all those affected.
Pleas please please share, I’ll be posting with updates as I hear from local sources in the areas we are going to help and please message me for donations I will pick them up and have plenty of room to store and transport them up to the areas, or if you want to volunteer aswell or have skills we can use everyone can help in some way and can start rebuilding Appalachia and the surrounding areas. All funds will be used for materials, supplies and needs for the locals that were impacted and our crews and photo and videos of all our work will be shared through a email list if you donate to our cause you will contacted and if you would like can be added to the list to receive receipts and videos and photo showing where all the funds raised will go and you will get to see the people who you are helping us to have the resources needed to make a difference in these communities. And we have the email and phone line aswell if you have any questions or would like to find out about other ways to help our efforts.
