Rebuild and Restore: Aid for Uncle Nando

Hello,

I hope each and every one of you is in good health and well. After much thought, and convincing our uncle Fernando (Kya'kya Nando) to accept help from others, we are seeking support for this GoFundMe.

On the night of January 18, 2025, our uncle Nando lost his home due to a fire that started in his fireplace. We are profoundly grateful our uncle and his support dog Sa'mu' were unharmed. Our uncle is a blessing to not only myself, but to my children, my siblings, and cousins. He has supported us throughout our lives and has taken us all over the world, teaching, preserving, and sharing our Zuni culture, as well as showing us different cultures of the world. In turn, we would like to give back and support him at this difficult time. So friends of Fernando, and relatives, we are reaching out for your support.

All proceeds will go to cleaning out and properly disposing of damaged lumber, etc. Any donation will help with this challenging task of rebuilding and making sure our uncle Nando has a safe and secure home he can call his own.
