Rebuild and Heal: Aid for Michelle and Aden

On January 21st , the Michelle Bledsoe family suffered the unimaginable, their home literally exploded.

21 year-old Aiden was trying to rid the house of a “funny smell” (an apparent gas leak). He flicked a lighter to light some incense and his home and life literally exploded in his face. Aiden suffered third degree burns over nearly 20% of his body and is being treated indefinitely at the Parkland Hospital Burn Unit in Dallas. As you can imagine, with rising gas prices the travel to and from Dallas to see Aiden is costly. Even with the horrifying burns, Aiden attempted to save their fur babies, of which, sadly, several did not survive.

Michelle was in her bedroom when the explosion occurred, as she arose to see what happened, Aiden came running into her bedroom screaming for help and begging she stop the flames covering his head and burning his past-the-shoulders hair.

Another family member was literally thrown the length of her bedroom and smashed against a wall. The full extent of her back injuries are unknown at this time.

Aiden’s older brother was talked to the hospital by ambulance, suffering from smoke inhalation.

While Aiden’s 13 year-old brother was not injured, he is suffering mightily from the explosion that literally blow the house off its foundation.

Right now the family needs your help financially. Right now they are searching for a house to rent, but at the time what they need is money, as they have no place to store items. If you are unable to donate, sharing the fundraiser or leaving the words of encouragement is much needed.
