We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the fire that destroyed Amsal Mitke’s cherished cultural restaurant. For over 20 years, Amsal has been a passionate cultural ambassador for Ethiopia, sharing her country’s rich heritage, traditions, and cuisine with the local community and beyond.

This loss goes far beyond the physical destruction of her restaurant. It has deeply affected her family, the livelihoods of her 60 employees, and the broader community that saw her restaurant as a hub of cultural connection and celebration.

Tamrat Seifeyared Alemayehu, a longtime friend of Amsal and her husband, Zelalem, has taken the initiative to organize this GoFundMe campaign to help them rebuild their beloved restaurant and recover from this tragedy.

በኢትዮጵያ የሙዚቃ ታሪክ የራሷን አሻራ ያሳፈረችው አርቲስት አምሳል ምትኬ ከልጅነት ዕድሜዋ ጀምሮ ለምትወደው የሙዚቃ ሞያ የተጋች፣ የአንገፋ የሙዚቃ ተምሳሌቶቿን ምክርና ልምድ ተቀብላ ሕልሟን ያሳካች ታታሪ የኪነጥበብ ሰው ናት፡፡ በሙዚቃ ሥራዎቿ የኢትዮጵያን ባህልና ታሪክ ያስተዋወቀች፣ በአገር ውስጥም ሆነ በባህርማዶ በተዘጋጁ ኮንሰርቶችና ባዛሮች ተወዳጅ ሥራዎቿን ለሚወዷት አድናቂዎቿ በማቅረብ ከፍ ያለ ዝና እና ክብር አትርፋለች፡፡

አርቲስት አምሳል ምትኬ ለተቸገረ ደራሽ፣ አረጋዊያንን ደጋፊ፣ አዛኝና እና ሩህሩህ ስብዕና ያላት ኢትዮጵያዊ መሆኗን በተግባር አሳይታለች፡፡ የእሷን ፈለግ ተከተለው ለመጡ ወጣቶች በሃሳብ ይምታበረታ፣ በማቴሪያልና በገንዘብ የምትደግፍ ቅን ሰው ናት፡፡ በጤና፣ በዕድሜ መግፋት ለተቸገሩ አንጋፋ የኪነጥበብ ሰዎችን በማጽናናት፣ በመድረስ ትታወቃለች፡፡ በተለያየ ጊዜ በአገራችን በተፈጠሩ ሰው ሰራሽና የተፈጥሮ አደጋዎች በገቢ ማስገኛ መድረኮች በሞያዋ ከመሳተፍ በተጨማሪ በገንዘብ ስትደግፍ የኖረች አገርና ወገኗን ወዳድ ኢትዮጵያዊ ናት፡፡

ከ10 ዓመት በፊት በባህርዳር ከተማ ደረጃው በጠበቀ መልኩ በከፈተቸው የምሽት ክለብ ለሞያ አጋሮቿና ለወጣት ሙዚቀኞች እንዲሁም በተለያየ ሞያ ለተቀጠሩ በአጠቃላይ ለ60 ወገኖች የሥራ ዕድል በመፍጠር ጥቂት ለማይባሉ ቤተሰቦች የሕይወት ለውጥ አለኝታ ሆናለች፡፡ በዚህ የምሽት ክለብ ይሰሩ የነበሩ ወጣት የሙዚቃ መሣሪያ ተጫዋቾና ድምጻዊያን ሞያቸውን እንዲያሳድጉ አስችሏቸዋል፡፡ በሕዝብ ዘንድ ታዋቂ መሆን ችለዋል፡፡ ራሳቸውን ችለው እንዲሰሩና እንዲለወጡ የበኩሏን አስተዋጽዖ አድርጋለች፡፡

ዛሬ ያ ለሥራ አጥ ወገኖቿ አለኝታ የሆነችበት፣ የባህር ዳር ከተማ ድምቀትና መዳረሻ የነበረው፣ በርካታ የሙዚቃ ባለሞያዎች የወጡበት፣ በሞያቸው እውቅና ያተረፉበት፣ ቤተሰብ የሚያስተዳድሩበት የባህል ምሽት ቤት ….ቀን ከምሽቱ 12 ሰዓት አካባቢ ምክንያቱ ባልታወቀ የእሳት ቃጠሎ ወድሟል፡፡ ለዓመታት ሰርታ ያፈራችው በውስጡ የነበሩ በውድ ዋጋ የተገዙ የሙዚቃ መሳሪያዎችና ሌሎች የባህል ሬስቶራንቱ መገልገያ ዕቃዎች ባሉበት አመድ ሆነዋል፡፡ ይህን መጎዳቷን የሰሙ በአገር ውስጥና በተለያየ የዓለም ክፍል የሚኖሩ አድናቂዎቿ "ጉዳትሽ ጉዳታችን" ነው በማለት አፅናንተዋታል፡፡ .

ለሀገር ለወገን ደራሽ በመሆን ካላት አካፍላ የኖረችው አርቲስት አምሳል ምትኬ የህዝብ ልጅ ናት፡፡ ይህን ሁሉ ንብረት ለማፍራት ደክማለች፡፡

ውድ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ወገኖችና የአርቲስት አምሳል ምትኬ አድናቂዎች!....ለአገርና ለወገን አለሁ በማለት በሞያዋ ስታግዝ ለኖረችው ተወዳጅ አርቲሰት "ጉዳትሽ ጉዳታችን" እንዳልናት ሁሉ በተግባር ልንደርስላት ይገባል፡፡ በመሆኑም የባህል ምሽት ቤቷ በተሻለ ሁኔታ ተግንብቶ ወደሥራ እንድትገባ በማድረግ ይህን የጎፈንድ ሚ ከፍተናል፡፡
