Flood Took Our Home! A Single Mom & Ailing Veteran Father

Hi, my name is Suzanne. I'm a single mother of three children and a proud grandmother. My father, Eugene Mispagel, is a 100% honorable veteran who served in the United States Army. He’s not just a hero to this country—he’s our hero at home.

Recently, our family experienced a devastating blow. Our home of 25 years was flooded with over 37 feet of contaminated river water due to recent severe weather and flooding. The damage has been overwhelming. The flood destroyed our A/C unit and ripped out insulation beneath the house. We’re now in urgent need of repairs, including:

A new A/C unit and piping

Complete insulation replacement under the house

A full mold inspection and potential treatment

This situation is especially urgent because my father, Eugene Mispagel has COPD emphysema and epilepsy—both conditions made worse by poor air quality, heat, and mold exposure. Without a working A/C and safe, clean air, he simply cannot remain in the home he’s loved for over two decades.
