My brother and his family live in Hat Yai, Thailand, and recently experienced a devastating flood that lasted for seven days and six nights. During this time, three-quarters of the city was submerged under 9 to 16 feet of water. My brother’s family were stranded on their second floor for several days without power, running water, phone, or internet connection. The main floor of their house was completely flooded, destroying everything on that level, including their truck and scooter.

This disaster has left them with almost nothing. Their home, transportation, and most of their possessions are gone. Many other families in their community are facing the same challenges, having lost their homes and belongings to the flood. But this disaster did not leave them hopeless. Instead, they are using it as an opportunity to help and be a light to their community, already providing for those most impacted. By faith and resilience through God, they have continued serving others, even in the midst of their own loss.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping my brother’s family, their team, and others in their community rebuild their homes and lives. Your support will also help them continue their ministry and share God’s love with those in need. Every bit of support will help them and their neighbors get back on their feet and restore some sense of normalcy after this traumatic event.
