Rebuild After Fire: Support Kickstart's Journey

Over the past few months, we have been building a group called "Kickstart". This group is for anyone and everyone who wants to start or grow their journey with God. This group is all about having fun in fellowship, whether that means swimming until dark or playing volleyball until you can't stand. Kickstart takes place on most Saturdays at our home at 5pm.

On Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, we were finishing up talking about how amazing the worship concert was that we went to as a group of 25 the night before. This is when we came to the realization that our garage had caught fire. Immediately everyone sprung into action, getting everybody and every animal out of the house, starting to fight the fire with hoses as much as possible. Once we knew it was bigger than our abilities, it was onto getting everything out of the way. As we waited for the fire department, we made sure everyone was away and safe, thanking God for safety every second.

There were many waves of emotion but one thing was strong and that was our FAITH. As the firefighters got the flames contained and extinguished, we knew we had to pray. All coming together to form a circle, we could feel the power of the Holy Spirit with us, giving us peace and comfort. Over the next several months, we are going to have to live day by day, but we couldn't be more thankful for the amazing community of Ada and the surrounding areas. The amount of help and love we have received after just 1 day is such a beautiful blessing. This spiritual attack will only add to our testimony and journey with God.
