Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Our family of three—plus our new puppy and three cherished cats—has been deeply affected by the devastating Eaton Canyon Fires that have ravaged our beloved Altadena. Though we are grateful that our home didn’t burn, it has been left uninhabitable, forcing us to leave the place we’ve cherished for so long.
Altadena has been more than a home; it’s where we built a lifetime of memories, surrounded by a beautiful community and the stunning natural beauty of the San Gabriel Mountains. Seeing the destruction of this special place has been nothing short of heartbreaking.
We are now faced with the overwhelming task of relocating, rebuilding, and finding a safe space to start anew while we wait for the chance to return home. This unexpected journey comes with significant financial and emotional challenges, and we are reaching out to ask for your support.
Your generosity will help us cover relocation costs, essential expenses, and begin the long process of recovery as we navigate this difficult time. Any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to us and help us find hope amidst the heartbreak.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and love during this incredibly difficult time.
