Rebuild Abraham's house

I met Abraham at the Christian Leaders Training College (CLTC) in 2013 where he was studying and I was doing maintenance work. Two and a half years later, with no interim contact, we met again this time in Dubai airport. We were both on our way to volunteer aboard a Christian charity ship, Logos Hope, on which we spent two years together. Whilst there, some dramas in the village back home saw Abraham's house burnt to the ground and now, nearly 7 months after coming home, Abraham is still living in the village church. The small village is without power or running water, all water for washing and drinking is carried from the dirty river nearby and most live a subsistence lifestyle surviving on the sweet potatoes and corn they grow in their small plots. We were talking last night as we do at least twice a week and I realised things aren't going to change unless someone does something. So I'm gonna do something! As a carpenter myself and having a couple of weeks free between jobs I hope to go over and get my hands dirty and though I can afford the flights, I can't afford to buy the materials from the nearby town. Will you help me raise $10,000AUD to hire a mill to cut the timber, buy plywood, roofing iron, nails and some hand tools to rebuild Abraham's house? As there is no power in the village all the cutting and fixing will have to be done by hand - my right shoulder is already feeling sore!  I will have to assess the options, time and cost effectiveness of milling timber versus buying milled lumber and somehow getting it to the village once I get there.  Any excess funds raised will go towards Abraham's dream of evangelism and livelihood training amongst the youths, unemployed and drug addicted (which he once was) in the area. Thank you!  William Phase 2. As a Post Script to the above, my visit in October last year saw the structure go up and the house secure though there is no cladding on the internal walls, they're just frames! There isn't any guttering on the roof so the rain water all goes on the ground whilst the villagers all drink from the same muddy river that they bathe and do laundry in. Likewise, one door has a small ladder outside and the other simply has a 2 metre drop... So there are still a few things to finish off. My current contract ends mid April leaving me free to return for round 2. Check out the updates for the latest! Blessings, William, 9th March 2019
