[ ] As many of you have seen the article most at risk wether on the Navajo Times or on social media here is an Insight of what we can do to help. Lester John has no children to rely on and most of his siblings have deceased while a few live many miles away. We as his nearest relatives and surrounding communities are stepping up to do what we can to help his living situation. Lester is our grandmother the late Ellen Clark's brother of Indian Wells Az. First we would like to thank all who have donated food, sanitary supplies and water storage, it is greatly appreciated on behalf of Lester John. We are starting a go fund me account in hopes of either restoring or rebuilding a livable home for Lester John and Evelyn Begay, as you have seen in the attached photos the home has aged and is not in a livable condition, so we asked and well kindly appreciate all monetary donations, or even house supplies and building material. As far as food donations we ask that it be canned goods, canned meat and non refrigerated items due to no electricity. An as of dry food he was worried about them accumulating maggots due to the heat in the home, he is pretty stocked on flour, and rice. Today as we went to help him store all donations he was touched by how many people have reached out to help him and also as many vehicles have pulled in to help he shed tears then later told us how he was surprised of how much people cared and showed their love with the out pouring donations when he thought he was forgotten. Earlier in the day we stop by and asked him what he needed most he jokingly responded with "Your Chidii". Regardless of the situation he was in he still had humor and a smile to brighten your day. So we ask that you share this post and let's help Lester John to a better living situation. Thank You we will continue to update the progress that has been made..... Again thank u to all who donated, shared, and prayed for him it means so much to him....Thank you!..
