Rick’s Bone Marrow Transplant Fund

Heartbroken, crushed, speechless...that’s about all I’ve got...
Over the past few weeks Rick has been having severe leg spasms that have nearly made him immobile. We attributed it to the side effects of his daily chemo compounded with the stress of being ruthlessly let go at work. We followed drs orders of rest, extra hydration, and a few supplements that typically ease these pains. All the while he was beating himself up over not even being able to try and get a new job, which was clearly not even on my radar as he could Literally barely walk and put on his on clothing.
He went from being 50% if not more active in our family to needing round the clock help from me. Nothing was showing marked signs of improving his pain so we got him in with his dr. and they ran labs only to find out that his Chronic Myeloid Leukemia has progressed Very rapidly to the Blast Phase since his last visit in February when his cancer was undetectable.
This phase is Very hard to control and fight. So, we now have a new plan and are working to get the treatments started. Rick will not return to work anytime in foreseeable future and will require round the clock care to get back into remission and healthy so he can have a Bone Marrow Transplant. It It has a 60% curability rate and can at the very least get him back into Chronic Phase.
Needless to say he needs PRAYERS, big ol MIRACLE style prayers to assure that this all plays out seamlessly and that our little family not on survives this insane journey but that we THRIVE throughout our journey coming out on the other end with hearts full of joy and grace.
I love this boy with every fiber of my being and will be fighting tooth and nail for him and alongside him as he goes to battle and slays this monster. I have to find the mental and physical strength to balance his care with being the very best mother to our three children.❤️
This is going to be the Absolute hardest assignment I have ever been given. But I’m armed with an Amazing God, wonderful family and friends, and lots of coffee....#letsdothis

So Many of you have asked for a concrete way to help and give financial support so I have created this page. We have been Overwhelmed with your love and support in the past and will need it as our little family sets of on this journey to heal our main man!

We need him back up singing and dancing in the kitchen with the kids as he creates one of his amazing meals for us.❤️

All Funds Raised will go to Rick’s care and help our family with general living expenses as he will not be able to work for at least 6-12 months and I will be home caring for him full time as well as our kiddos ages, Annabelle 11, Jamison 8, and Ryker 10 months.

I Love you all❤️
