Rebel 4 Life with IEP!

IEP (Indigenous Earth Protectors) have arrived in New York to join the Spring Rebellion. IEP members were arrested at the White House on April 6 in solidarity with Rose Abramoff and the Scientist Rebellion and are currently facing an extremely high number of charges in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

IEP is a Two-Spirit centered collective founded by White Earth Ojibwe artist Alex Golden-Wolf (@we_arelivingtrees), Dakota activist Hoka Wicasa (@wicasahoka), and Indigenous artist Mikasa Earthuro (@thegayfrogoftheday) and Ashkenazi Jewish poet Eddy Cypress (@manif_cybro) with its many members composing a number of political interests. Golden-Wolf is facing one of the highest number of criminal charges in Minnesota for their direct actions against Line 3 with Camp Migizi and Red Lake Treaty Camp, pipeline resistance camps in Northeast Minnesota. Specifically throwing themselves into an active trench to stop construction.

Unfortunately, IEP’s housing arrangement fell through after arriving in NYC. Hence, they need our support to cover housing and transportation costs while they are here in NYC. Please donate generously.

Here’s what your donations will help cover these costs for 10 days:

Housing: $8,000 ($53 per person, per night)

Food: $3,000 ($20 per person, per day)

Transportation around NYC: $2,000 ($13 per person, per day)

Members of IEP and XR came together at Camp Migizi in Northern Minnesota to #StopLine3, a pipeline extension carrying Tar Sands from Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin. Line 3, now completed, threatens Indigenous treaty rights and the Climate. So IEP is bringing its stand for Indigenous Sovereignty and Climate Justice to the East Coast, challenging the US government and corporations to stop devastating the Earth.

We are one Climate Justice movement, working together to defend what we love. IEP came to New York as an act of Faith in what we can build together. Please donate as generously as you can to support their presence here with us in the streets of NYC.
