Rebecca's Medical Fund: Urgent Help Needed

Hi. My name is Rebecca, and I am sharing my story in hopes of raising financial donations to help me during this very scary and life challenging time in my life.

Unfortunately, I have been suffering from a severe internal bacterial and fungal infection. This has been an extremely difficult health challenge to navigate, try to contain and cure. It has spread throughout my body and caused a very painful and debilitating result, effecting my skin with massive blistering. Due to this, I have been unable to proceed working in a career that I have loved and committed myself to for over 30 years.

Simultaneously, I have suffered 13 seizures within the past 18 months. This full body trauma has caused several internal and external injuries, including dislocated bones, the loss of 2 teeth, tongue lesions, head bruising, vision challenges, and memory loss (all side effects from seizure episodes). I have had medical assistance (all paid for in cash as I do not currently have any form of health insurance), but I am still in need of more tests, potential surgery, continued medications and monitoring.

I (which I have been very proud of) have not used any form of credit/ credit card for nearly 20 years. I have been working since I was 15 years old and have been living my life over the past 20 years via my financial income and my savings. But now, due to my health trauma, I have been unable to work and have depleted all of my savings tending to my health care needs and basic living expenses.

I am reaching out, in great hope, that my story will touch the hearts of people and encourage them to donate to my fundraiser. Every dollar is greatly appreciated and will go towards my medical needs, as well as my very basic living expenses (rent and food).
