Memorial Fund to Support Rebecca, Mia, & Aidan

On Thursday, September 22, 2022, Tomman Rucker sat in his favorite chair on his back porch after a long day at work and quietly left this world.
He had just laughed and joked with his two children, Mia and Aidan, after trying, for the millionth time, to convince them to taste ox tail, to which they replied, "Gross, Daddy, no!"
He and Aidan planned to fix the go-kart over the weekend and make breakfast the following morning. They were always doing things together: yard work, building things, cutting down trees, trips to Lowes, fishing, grilling competitions, with lots of laughter and love.
Tragically, his 14-year-old son found Tomman unresponsive minutes later and called 911. The medics tirelessly tried to resuscitate him while his family desperately prayed for a miracle. Devastatingly, they couldn't bring him back. He was only 46 years old.
Tomman left behind his high school sweetheart, Rebecca, and their children. Their hearts are broken. This is an indescribable loss for all of them.
He took extreme pride in providing for his family. I've never known anyone as hard-working as Tomman.
His co-workers and boss expressed the same, sharing that when Tomman walked into work, he'd boisterously yell to his co-workers, in his sing-song voice, "Honey, I'm home!"
His co-workers often asked him why he put in so many hours after working 10-hour shifts, and he'd reply, "I have to take home the bread!"
He wasn't just another co-worker or employee. He was a friend, someone people looked up to. He is greatly missed by many.
His laugh was contagious, and his smile lit up the room. Tomman never met a stranger, and he'd be the first to befriend someone or take the time to help another.
Becoming a homeowner, starting a garden with his family, having grilling cook-offs with his son, late into the midnight hour to see who won the taste tests, and laughing with his family were his greatest joys.
With Tomman's unexpected passing, Rebecca is suddenly the sole provider for their children. Although her grief feels unbearable, her main focus is making this transition as easy as possible for Mia and Aidan.
No donation is too small. Together, we can make a massive difference in this precious family's life. Thank you for being a blessing to Rebecca, Mia, and Aidan in their darkest hour.
