I'm Rebecca. I am a mother of 3 teens and a wife of a disabled spouse.

Update: I recently went to a mental health facility because life is too overwhelming. Our bills are piling up and in my condition we have already downsized our home to help with the loss of my income. 

 When I was 16, I was in a car accident and fractured 13 vertebrae from the top of my spine to the bottom. I knew that one day I would be using a wheelchair to get around.I did not expect it to come this soon. 

I had a career in nursing for 15 years that caused more damage to my spine. In 2017, I re-fractured T8 and T9 rollerblading. In 2019, I re-fractured T7-T8. In 2024, I had a fall that changed my life. I fell off my front step and now have a spinal cord injury in my cervical spine (neck)

.UPDATE: December 2nd I went into the emergency room with stroke like symptoms. I was admitted for 24 hours. I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. My brain and body don’t make the connections they need to function normally. I can no longer work to support my family. I did it I have the chair I need to learn to do the things I love. My family is struggling without my extra income. Please share to help pay my bills while I’m waiting on Disability.
