On April 26th, Rebecca Willis was walking across the road when she was the victim of a hit and run (TWICE) by an unidentified large white truck.

A longboard she was carrying likely saved her life, as well as the very kind couple that stopped to help her as she was lying on the road (whom she is particularly grateful to).

She is lucky to be alive, and though her neck, back and spine are thought to be okay so far, she sustained life-altering injuries. This includes multiple crushed ribs on her right side, road rash down her entire right side, and her left hand and wrist were crushed.

She will likely undergo surgery next week to have her left wrist and hand rebuilt. She is left-handed, too, which makes recovery more complicated.

Rebecca is the mother of three children under 18. This incident will cause her to be out of work for an unforeseen amount of time, and she will likely rack up a lot of medical bills.

This campaign was put together by Rebecca's family and friends. Donations will go to helping Rebecca with living expenses, medical bills, and anything else needed for her recovery.
