( A hugh thank you to our dear friend Charlene Smolik for coming up with this idea! )
If you don’t personally know her, let me introduce you. This is Rebecca Suzanne (Johnson) Carver and she is my best friend of more than twenty-five years. She is a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, and one of the best friends anyone could imagine. Her morals, values, wisdom, strength, faith, beauty, courage, positive attitude and sense of humor are just a few words to describe her. She is one of the most generous & compassionate people I have ever met. There is nothing she would not do to help a fellow friend.
During February of this year, she suffered several seizures and spent a couple of weeks in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. They performed numerous tests & procedures, before determining she had masses on her brain. They had performed a brain biopsy to confirm that she has brain cancer.
On Wednesday April 18th, she went through the brain surgery, with God & Greta holding her hands tight. She came out of the surgery and the doctors were confident about the results. She did awesome, as she does with everything she does. She is currently recovering and beginning a long journey ahead. Justin her wonderful husband, all of her amazing family, & myself would like to thank you all for your prayers & warm wishes. It’s very true that there is power in PRAYER! Our God is glorious & we are all blessed.
She does not have any medical insurance, and as you can imagine the doctor bills are already coming. Justin has the weight of the world on his shoulders, as he cares for his wife & their son Zach. Please if you can afford to donate anything will be greatly appreciated, thank you & God Bless.
