Hi, my name is Heather Mostella. My beautiful mom, Rebecca Mostella, was hit with a ruptured aneurysm on August 22, 2025. She is currently in ICU fighting for her life. We don't know the extent of damage it has done to her brain, and we are working on getting her lungs strong enough for a tracheostomy. At this point, she has been in the hospital for 19 days.

We don't know what the future holds for her, but I am asking for help with whatever the future may bring. Any little can help. My mom is a fighter, and I know she will fight her way out of this. She is the most loving and kind person that I know, and I am so glad to call her my mom.

UPDATE: My mom has been moved to a new facility to help wean her off of the ventilator. She is doing well, but still very out of it. After she is off the ventilator and can move to the next step, she will need a rehab center, unfortunately insurance does not pay for Rehab so all donations will go to helping her get into a rehab facility to help her get back to her normal life.
