My beautiful sister-in-law Rebecca was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer just a few days before Christmas. She is just starting her cancer journey and there are still many unknowns. We do know, however, that there will be significant expenses and hardships along the way including medical deductibles, co-insurance, and unpaid time off from work. She starts chemo in 2 weeks and the oncologist believes it will be a 6+ month regimen followed by surgery and that she will likely be unable to work during that time.
