Hello, my name is Rebecca Bristol. I appreciate you all who have taken a moment to read my story. I am 58 years old and have been married for 35 years to my wonderful husband. I am blessed to be a mother of three adult children and one grandchild.

In March 2021, I was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma, a form of breast cancer. As a result of this diagnosis, I spent the year (2021-2022) undergoing several correctional and preventative surgeries as well as extensive rounds of radiation. This type of cancer was a result of an imbalance in my hormones. The recommended treatment to prevent reoccurrence was to take hormone blockers that produced excruciating side effects. My body could not tolerate these intense hormone blocking medications. After multiple trials with several different medications all producing the same negative affect, I was told there was no other options that insurance would cover. This led me to research other options to allow my body to heal and prevent the cancer from reoccurring. Thankfully, I was able to find an integrative treatment method that has been researched and tested thoroughly. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover it. This treatment option costs roughly $1,000 - $3,500 a month, not including travel, and is intended as a 5-to-10-year treatment plan. I am optimistic this treatment is the best option for me, however, the monetary requirement is unattainable for my family and I to maintain. Any money donated will be used to directly contribute to the rising cost of medical bills associated with my treatment plan. Any amount you choose to donate is so greatly appreciated.
