On Saturday, June 29th, our mother, Rebecca, was caught in a tragic accident; kerosene exploded, catching our mother on fire and covering her body in third degree burns. She was life-flighted to the nearest burn center where she will spend months undergoing different surgeries and even more months on a complex road to recovery.

The last few days have been nothing short of difficult for our family—as well as absolutely horrifying. We may not have all of the answers right now, but we know in our hearts that she is the strongest person in the world and will fight this battle accordingly. Our mother is a kind and gentle human; she has four children and two step children who love her, an adoring puppy, a husband and so many others who will be patiently waiting to see her healthy again.

With all of that being said, a financial burden has been cast upon us as we struggle to get to her side from out of state, to ensure her bills are covered and to ensure all her assets remain intact and available to her when she recovers. We are reaching out to ask for support to make this transition into our new normal easier without having to be concerned about ongoing and upcoming expenses.
