Dear Friends,
After hearing about Andrew and Rebecca’s journey, many of you have reached out to us, family members, asking if there was anything you could do to help. We are setting up this page as a place for those who have it on their hearts to help or give.
Some of you may not have heard the full story. So we would like to take this opportunity to share with you their journey.
Last year, Andrew and Rebecca found out that after years of waiting, they were finally expecting their first child. Then, in October, they were told they were having a little girl, but that she had a condition called Anencephaly.
Anencephaly is a condition where the bones of the skull and often the brain do not develop. Even with a fully developed brain, it is necessary that this very sensitive area of the body have the protection of the skull in order to survive long term.
On the 25th of March, their precious little Pearl Raine made her appearance at 41 weeks. Thankfully, the Lord allowed them a few special minutes to hold and kiss her as she gently slipped away.
We join them in celebrating their beautiful child and rejoice in knowing that one day we will meet her again. Thank you, and blessings to each and every one of you who are praying and loving on them throughout this challenging journey. They have appreciated and felt each and every prayer.
For now, though, they are left with the remainder of the bills from the pregnancy, birth, and burial as well as a lower income. We know that neither of them would personally reach out and ask for help. However, we wanted to provide a place for people to bless Becka and Andrew if they’d like!!
