Funeral Donations for Rebecca Amoge Uzoh-Jones

Hi, my name is Nikita Uzoh, and I have set up this GoFundMe account to honor my sister, Amoge, and to help my brother-in-law, Ashley Jones.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. My beloved sister, Rebecca Amoge Uzoh-Jones, tragically passed away last Friday. On February 9th, Rebecca went into surgery to remove several major fibroids that not only created obstacles in her dream of creating a family with her dear husband, but they also significantly impacted her quality of life causing her constant fatigue and pain on a daily basis. Unfortunately, she did not survive this necessary surgery.

My heart aches for her husband who was anxiously waiting for her to complete and heal from her surgery, so she could finally move into their home in Toronto and start their family. Ashley has gone from preparing a home to welcome his wife to planning her funeral within a day.

The loss is so sad for all who loved her - her husband, parents, siblings, extended family, and friends - and now it's time to gather, celebrate her life and light, and give her the farewell she deserves.

Rebecca was a vibrant, loving, and giving soul who brought joy to everyone around her. At 35 years old, we were hoping for so much more time with her, and her sudden departure has left us all heartbroken. We want to honor her memory and provide her with a dignified farewell, and so we ask for your help to lighten the financial burden as it’s going to be too overwhelming for her family at this time.

We have created this GoFundMe page to humbly ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping us give my sister the proper goodbye she deserves. The funds raised will go directly towards funeral expenses, including the casket, burial plot, and funeral service.
