re-bar (n): the bar that gives strength.
New York is a city that comes together during times of crisis; its being a part of a community bigger than ourselves. And when any of us needs a place to kick back, or a place to share a safe space, we go to our favorite community bars. For the last three years, REBAR has been that strengthening space and has become a home for many of our patrons, and continues to be a home for all of our staff. We have become a family, and our family plans to stick together through this until the end.
We look forward to returning to REBAR to host your favorite shows and dance parties, to continue to welcome our community with free FRIENDSGIVING dinners, and reduced price happy hours every day of the week. But right now, we could use your help.
The COVID-19 outbreak has affected us all. Whether it’s our health, our routine, or our employment status, especially for those of us in the service industry, it’s uncertain when we can return to work. So we ask you to find it in your hearts to tip us today with anything you can afford. Any donation can help us continue without an income, while we wait out this outbreak and return to REBAR.
Thank you to everyone, and please stay safe.
