Really in a time of need

Hey, everyone.

So everyone knows that on my page, I am very transparent about what my life is like, especially with my HIV status. I am currently going through a divorce. No, it has nothing to do with my HIV status. With the divorce comes many hardships, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have never felt this level of pain in quite a while. Back in October of 2022, I became aware of the divorce as I was unemployed after being wrongfully fired from my salaried job and coming back from my comedy gig in Philadelphia.

Currently, I am staying in the house that my ex-wife and I rented. However, the lease is up at the end of the month (February 1st. That's literally in a week as of the time of making this GoFundMe page). With that being said, I have been using my comedy tour to stay afloat in keeping bills somewhat paid. But it hasn't been consistent enough to rely on it completely. I am working two jobs (as a substitute teacher and at the local news station) just to keep up on bills. However, I still am behind. I've been applying to full-time positions, but nothing seems to bite.

Some people have suggested that I downsize. If I could, I honestly would. However, with moving comes security deposits, application fees, pet fees, U-Haul rental, etc. So with my current balance in my bank account, I can't even downsize.

I HATE asking people to give. Anybody that knows me knows that I am a giver. I'm a donator. I'm a person that likes to give my time, money, and energy to people with no expectations to receive anything back in return because I've had people in my corner with the same mindset. But I've really been at my worst mentally, emotionally, and financially. This transitional period has taken away so much and I'm really at my lowest. That's why you've seen less comedy from me because it's becoming harder for me to smile lately.
