Hi! My name is Marcella and I would like to introduce myself, my Husband Fabio, and our dream story.

We arrived from Italy in the U.S. in January 2022 with four suitcases, our beloved dog Golia, the Green Cards, and many projects to carry out.

Fabio is an amazing Chef, and I am his first fan. We have always been a team, and I took the initiative to found BIT LLC, Bruno's Italian Taste: our idea is to realize a small Italian food cuisine of southern Italy, our little piece of Italy in San Francisco. Fabio specializes in Pizza, Pasta, and Pastry. He is an outstanding pastry Chef and cake designer, and, in Italy, in addition to working as a pizza maker, he had his own little extra business (search brunoscakecs on Instagram to get an idea!). This was also a team effort: I took orders, bought ingredients, and worked on the cake’s design together.

I am Histotechnologist. Yes, I am a Woman of Science, but I am also an authentic woman from southern Italy; I'm passionate about cooking and my husband's right-hand woman in the kitchen. I learned cooking art from my grandparents and my mother, and I like being able to preserve the culinary traditions of my region. There's a lot of science in the kitchen too! In addition to supporting my husband in the kitchen, I’m an enthusiastic business-oriented mind and manage the organization of the business and social media.

The U.S. is the land of opportunity and “thinking big”, and we know we could do more.

I developed a business plan and had it overseen by a consultant of the Small Business Administration (SBA) in San Francisco, who was enthusiastic and confirmed that it was a project with great potential. We also have the opportunity to accede to a loan for small businesses.

We are almost ready to start. Unfortunately, arriving in the US just over a year ago, we haven't had the opportunity to put aside as much liquidity as needed to cover the initial expenses at least.

We need $20,000 to start our business and open our food service in San Francisco, CA.
