Hola, mi nombre es Héctor y soy salterista mexicano.

Desde los 6 años inicié mi formación en el salterio, instrumento que con el tiempo se ha convertido en el centro de mi vida y en mi mayor vocación.

Hoy tengo la oportunidad de continuar mi desarrollo musical en la Hochschule für Musik und Theater München en Alemania, una de las instituciones más importantes de Europa.

El salterio mexicano tiene sus raíces en el salterio barroco europeo. Sin embargo, actualmente solo el salterio barroco se estudia formalmente en conservatorios de Europa. Este proyecto representa una oportunidad única: integrar el salterio mexicano en este contexto académico, explorando un diálogo entre tradición y desarrollo profesional, y abriendo una puerta que hasta ahora no existe.

Para poder realizar este proyecto, necesito reunir aproximadamente 12,000 euros, requisito indispensable para obtener la visa de estudiante en Alemania.

Estoy haciendo todo lo que está en mis manos para lograrlo, incluyendo la venta de instrumentos propios. Aun así, el monto es alto, por lo que recurro a esta campaña.

Mi compromiso es claro: formarme al más alto nivel y regresar a México para impulsar, desarrollar y dignificar el salterio como instrumento profesional y cultural.

Este no es solo un proyecto personal, es una apuesta por el crecimiento de una tradición musical mexicana.

Hello, my name is Héctor, and I am a Mexican psaltery player.

I began playing the psaltery at the age of 6, and over time it has become the center of my life and my greatest passion.

Today, I have the opportunity to continue my musical education at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in Germany, one of the most prestigious music institutions in Europe.

The Mexican psaltery has its roots in the Baroque psaltery. However, only the Baroque psaltery is currently studied in European conservatories. This project represents a unique opportunity: to introduce the Mexican psaltery into this academic environment, creating a dialogue between tradition and professional development, and opening a path that does not yet exist.

In order to make this possible, I need to raise approximately €12,000, which is the required amount to obtain a student visa in Germany.

I am doing everything I can to achieve this goal, including selling personal instruments. Even so, the amount is significant, which is why I am reaching out for support.

My commitment is clear: to train at the highest level and return to Mexico to promote, develop, and elevate the psaltery as a professional and cultural instrument.

This is not only a personal project — it is an effort to support and grow a Mexican musical tradition.
