Real Canadian Recreation

Canadian Military veteran, Ret/Sgt. Tyson Bowen and his beautiful family have recently purchased a 200+ acre farm in Pictou County, NS.  They have started Real Canadian Recreation, which is a non-profit eco-adventure park they envision as a retreat where veterans can heal through nature.  They are working at developing the property to include a woodworking shop, a functional garage, accommodations, as well as camp sites and trails dedicated to hiking, biking, all-terrain vehicles and other off-road worthy vehicles.  Ret/Sgt. Bowen is a veteran of two tours in Afghanistan, which left him (and his family and friends) suffering from the effects of PTSD.  He has found peace, calm, and happiness on this land and wants to share it with as many veterans as possible.  Please consider making a donation to help make the Bowen family dream a reality.
