Help the Reaka Family - Tragic Accident!!

On November 14, 2022, a tragic accident occurred that will forever change the Reaka family. Jeremy Reaka, a 41 year old from Kansas, was at work inflating a huge heavy equipment loader tire on a "split rim" when suddenly the split rim exploded! This rim / tire assembly is over 1000 lbs, and the tire is about 5-6 ft in diameter. Unfortunately the explosion sent the rim flying into Jeremy's face and chest causing traumatic damage. Amongst his injuries are fractures in his face and head, internal bleeding & swelling, broken ribs, broken bones throughout his hand and arm, and so much more that it's hard to list it all. He was AirLife transported to Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO. His injuries are extremely severe and he is in CRITICAL condition. Currently as of 11/15/22, Jeremy is pending the possibility of brain surgery but his body is completely unstable. He is hanging in the balance and needs every bit of everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Given the magnitude of this tragic accident, a fundraiser has been started to help in this time of need. The proceeds are to help with an abundance of needs. From travel expenses for the family (including his mother and close brother Jon Reaka to fly from Florida to Colorado), financial assistance for Jeremy and his wife, to a plethora of other immediate and upcoming expenses (medical, personal, etc). The family does not have a lot of money and can not take on this great burden alone. Any contribution to help would be greatly appreciated. Even dollar raised goes to the Reaka Family.

His brother Jon Reaka, will be giving progress updates along the way, which will be posted here as things progress. Please keep the Reaka family in your thoughts and prayers. Especially lift up Jeremy Reaka so that he will be able to pull through and hopefully begin the LONG road to recovery.
