Helping Reagan recover after surviving 12 gunshot wounds.

We are D.C. Cannon and Shaterica Marshall, and today, we come to you with heavy hearts, desiring help on behalf of our lifelong friend James B, a devoted father whose world has been shattered.

On April 6, 2025, James's 11-year-old daughter Reagan Bowens along with her mother became victims of a senseless and devastating shooting. Reagan is currently in the ICU fighting for her life.

Tragically, her mother— James co-parent—did not survive.

Now James is left to carry the weight of this unimaginable tragedy—grieving the loss of his daughters’ mother while doing everything in his power to help Reagan recover.

The road ahead is overwhelming. James is facing unforeseen expenses. We put this together to help him with medical bills, therapy and grief counseling.
