Reading to Bath 100km in 24hrs

Donation protected
Matt Twigger and Laurence Cooper will be walking 100km in 24hrs - from Reading to Bath - to raise money in aid of Neuroblastoma UK.

WHY?

Neuroblastoma is a rare, aggressive, and life-threatening cancer that develops from cells left behind from a baby’s development in the womb. It affects around 100 children each year in the UK, around two children every week, accounting for about 6 percent of the total number of childhood cancer diagnoses. It normally occurs in children under the age of five and even form before a child is born. Many children have little in the way of symptoms and it is often hard to diagnose in the early stages and sadly, is often missed by the time spread around the body

Neuroblastoma UK was established around 40 years ago to raise awareness and fund research to develop new, more effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma allowing for early diagnosis and intervention.

We welcome any donations, big or small. It all goes to a great cause that means so much to us, especially Matt’s family.
